A founder of “steamroller funk” supergroup Galactic, regular collaborator with Charlie Hunter, Medeski, Martin and Wood, Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, and sessioneer for everyone from Irma Thomas to John Scofield to Corrosion of Conformity. The band, also featuring Robert Walter (Greyboy, Head Hunters) on organ, piano and clavinet and guitarist Will Bernard (T.J Kirk, Dr Lonnie Smith) has hardened into a unit tighter than a duck’s proverbial in the last couple of years of touring.
